NPCs: Cover and Release Date

NPCs Cover

What happens when the haggling is done and the shops are closed? When the quest has been given, the steeds saddled, and the adventurers are off to their next encounter? They keep the world running, the food cooked, and the horses shoed, yet what adventurer has ever spared a thought or concern for the Non-Player Characters?
In the town of Maplebark, four such NPCs settle in for a night of actively ignoring the adventurers drinking in the tavern when things go quickly and fatally awry. Once the dust settles, these four find themselves faced with an impossible choice: pretend to be adventurers undertaking a task of near-certain death or see their town and loved ones destroyed. Armed only with salvaged equipment, second-hand knowledge, and a secret that could get them killed, it will take all manner of miracles if they hope to pull off their charade.
And even if they succeed, the deadliest part of their journey may well be what awaits them at its end.

Ladies and Gentlemen, that is the cover and synopsis for NPCs, a project I’ve been working on since last year and am proud to finally have ready to publish. It will be going live on May 14th, 2014 and will cost $3.99 for a digital version. Why specify digital? Because for the first time, I will also be releasing a print book at the same time.

Holy shit guys, can you even believe that?

Anyway, I'm still trying to determine the price for print books since there's a bit of tweaking and what-not before release day. They will be released through Createspace/Amazon, and should be eligible for Prime shipping. I can also offered signed copies if you guys are interested in it, though there might be a slow turnaround, depending on how much advanced notice I have to handle shipping and the like.

Next week's blog post will be the first full chapter of the book so that you can get an advanced preview before it even hits the shelves. Hope some of you are jazzed about this, because I am chomping at the bit to get this out there!
